Brian Ballard is a visiting scholar in the Philosophy Department and the University Center for Human Values. He specializes in mind, ethics, and the philosophy of religion. At Princeton, Ballard is developing a new argument that evil, far from challenging theistic faith, provides its greatest justification. His forthcoming book with Routledge, a study in re-enchantment, addresses the impact of God’s existence on the value of the world around us.
