Resistance Money: A Philosophical Case for Bitcoin (November 4, 2024)

 

On Monday, November 4 from 4:30-6:00pm, there will be a book talk on Resistance Money: A Philosophical Case for Bitcoin by Andrew M. Bailey, Bradley Rettler, and Craig Warmke. Prof. Andrew Chignell, co-director of the Princeton Project in Philosophy and Religion (3PR), will moderate the panel.

The panelists are: Andrew M. Bailey (Professor of Humanities and Philosophy, Yale-NUS College), Bradley Rettler (Associate Professor of Philosophy and Director of the Bitcoin Research Institute, University of Wyoming), Craig Warmke (Professor of Philosophy, Northern Illinois University), and Carolyn Wilkins (Senior Research Scholar at the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies, Princeton University).

This book talk is co-sponsored by the Griswold Center for Economic Policy Studies (GCEPS), the Princeton Center for the Decentralization of Power Through Blockchain Technology (DeCenter), and the University Center for Human Values (UCHV). The event is open to the public and to the Princeton University Community, and it will take place in Arthur Lewis Auditorium (Robertson Hall 100).
